KinderCamp is a two day adventure for campers brave enough to venture into the wild lands of kindergarten. During their trek in the wild, they will go on a hunt for a foul beast and enjoy lots of campfire tales. Tent time will share lots of colors, shapes and maybe even some different animals they have discovered during their journey. Campers can team with each other for a fun time and new friends.

There will be 2 session times to sign up for. The morning session is 8:00-11:00 and afternoon session is 12:00-3:00. Campers can sign up for KinderCamp at Kindergarten registration “Thursday, May 4th” or at the elementary school they will be attending. This is such an exciting time for your child. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible for our kids and our parents. KinderCamp can provide lots of fun and peace of mind for both you and your child. Listed are a few things to think about. Your child can:  

  • Tour the school “which will be practically empty”

  • Go on a scavenger hunt “Meet and Greet” of teachers, staff, etc.

  • Look and Listen for wild animals “vision and hearing screenings”

  • Get recess on the playground

  • PE time with friends

  • Rotation Stations “storytelling, craft time, tent building”

  • Parent introduction to Kindergarten
